I totally skipped last month’s update because I was in Texas and obviously my measurements would be up since everything is bigger in Texas. I didn’t want to skew my highly scientific data and/or I didn’t remember to pack my measuring tape and my friend didn’t have a scale. You know, whichever.
Since I’ve been back from Texas, though, I’ve been slowly working off those extra pounds I gained through regret free fun and frivolity. I have quite finished undoing all the scale damage I did from both the vacation and the month prior, but I’m cool with that.
The month prior, I’d been struggling with that cycle I’ve mentioned a few times of freaking out when I get too close to the 220lbs mark, not wanting to eat, eating too much to compensate, gaining weight again, and starting it all over again.
Also as I’ve mentioned before, this is my last weigh-in for a month to see if I can break that cycle. I’m going to work hard to focus on eating for my body’s needs rather than for weight loss. Hopefully next month I’ll still see a loss and that I’ll be able to reprogram myself to not let that be the be-all and end-all of what I’m going after.
Anyway, here are the results for this month. You might notice that I did, in fact, lose 1.4lbs since yesterday. I guess some of that water retention from sugar consumption was starting to clear out.
