I failed my own challenge. Yep, that’s right. I waited as long as possible to do this post because I was hoping that I would be able to get in one more workout but it just wasn’t going to happen. I think that I’m going to make it up next week just so that I don’t suck completely but I was too exhausted this week. Zumba was enough to Zombie me for all of Friday and Saturday. Today I just want to get prepared for the week.

I have to be brief today because I’m really low on time so I’m just going to get to next week’s challenge.

This time it’s a food challenge. For five meals this week change out your bread, pasta, or other grains (or starches) for vegetables. If you already do this, then change out cooked vegetables for raw. The point here is to get more nutrients at your meals. Raw vegetables have more nutrients than cooked and cooked vegetables are definitely better than bread or pasta. Come back here before Sunday at midnight (PST) and tell me what you did and it keeps you in the race for the prizes.

Also, if you haven’t commented at this blog about what you’ve done this week please do so. Just  posting about it at your blog doesn’t keep you in the challenge. Don’t forget, Spa gift cards are at stake!

I know I'm not part of the challenge BUT this week I started spinning and attempting yoga. I'm not allowed to run so I tried new activities!

aww boo to not being able to complete the challenge. i feel like i cheated because i didn't make a big change. i just changed when i worked out and opted for wii workouts over cardio programs. specifically, monday and sunday (today) i walked in the evenings instead of mornings. plus i put in almost 3 hours (walking and wii play) on friday afternoon when it's usually my rest day [full details]

on to the next challenge πŸ™‚
