I went back on Google Reader and started reading your blogs.
I love you.
I miss you.
I finally have internets at home.
I feel like I’ve missed out on so much in the lives of people who really do mean a lot to me. My fellow bloggers and readers aren’t just imaginary internet people. I’ve met several of you (and liked you all… so far). I text many of you (sorry for the drunk text…). I think of you all as part of my community (though hopefully you aren’t one of the sketchy people who hangs out across the street from my apartment because chances are you’ve really annoyed me recently).
Lately as I’ve been making so many transitions, I’ve not spent nearly so much time reading about what’s going on with all of you. I felt that gap today as I read up on what was going on in some of your lives. I miss you!
As my blog has become about so much more than just weight loss, the community surrounding it becomes increasingly important to me. While I really couldn’t care less about the oatmeal you ate for breakfast,mid-morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner, dessert, and for an evening snack (nor do I care to see any pictures of your smoothies…), your story has helped me in mine.
I didn’t plan to post today but I couldn’t resist. I just wanted to say thank you for reading. Thank you for responding. Thank you for being part of my community.
